Our client is a leading digital infrastructure company, dedicated to building and maintaining the backbone of the digital economy.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 15 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and will have gained relevant experience in sectors such as data centers, telecommunications, real estate, engineering & construction, renewable energy, or other related infrastructure sectors. Candidates from private practice with significant exposure to these areas are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal support and advice across all areas of the company's operations, including contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and lease agreements.
- Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to the construction, operation, and maintenance of data centers projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those related to data protection, telecommunications, and environmental standards.
- Support the company's business development activities by providing legal guidance on new projects and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on relevant legal issues and best practices.
- Stay abreast of legal developments in relevant sectors and advise the company on potential impacts and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 15 years of PQE with significant experience in one or more of the following sectors: data centers, telecommunications, real estate, engineering & construction, renewable energy, or other related infrastructure sectors.
- Strong academic background with a degree in law from a reputable institution.
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex legal matters and providing strategic legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
