My client, a world leader across FX payments is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager/Account Executive to join their team.
This is a permanent role and you will be required to work from my client's London office on a hybrid basis. This is paying a market leading salary plus OTE.
Role overview : As Senior Business Development Manager (Institutional) in London, you will be responsible for selling FX payment, hedging products and API solutions to institutional clients (Alternative Investment Funds – AIF).
You will be responsible for:
- Approaching Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) on behalf of the company to attract new clients
- Influencing clients, from the Managing Partners to CFOs and Treasurers of new and established Fund Managers and venture capital firms on benefits of executing spot and hedging needs through my client.
- Consulting with AIFs, on their currency requirements, risk profile and payment solutions whilst progressing towards securing sustainable, profitable relationships.
- Performing market analysis, attending on and offline events and generating sufficient pipeline to ensure financial targets are achieved.
You should apply if you have:
- A track record working in, or selling into, the AIF (Alternative Investment Funds) ecosystem is a MUST HAVE to be considered for this role.
- Foreign Exchange knowledge/experience is highly desired but not essential
- A Reliable and transferable client base within AIF ecosystem (preferred)
- Experienced using the principles of consultative selling and customer acquisition (including networking events, trade fairs, cold calling, etc.)
- Ambitious, self-motivated, confident with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition.
- Financially acumen with knowledge of business needs for AIF clients
- Ability to demonstrate success in new business sales of regulated products in a dynamic environment consistent demonstration of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrable skills of executive corporate level negotiations and ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Ability to work individually, and to collaborate with others in a fast-paced, team environment, making quick decisions, and managing timelines.
- Previous demonstrated experience, working towards key performance indicators and individual targets to achieve weekly, quarterly, and annual goals.
