The Role: We’re looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a fast-growing tech company and play a key role in expanding their UK presence. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the Head of Sales, with a clear trajectory to progress into an Account Executive role and beyond. You will be at the forefront of business development, driving new opportunities and setting the foundation for long-term success. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential customers within the target market.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to generate leads.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine sales opportunities.
- Book and schedule meetings for senior sales leaders and future Account Executives.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop outreach strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Continuously refine sales processes and messaging based on feedback and results.
- 1+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or lead generation role (ideally in SaaS, fintech, or RegTech).
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a hunger for success.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Confidence in conducting outreach and engaging with senior decision-makers.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- A keen interest in financial services, compliance, or technology.
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus.
