About the Role:
The Legal Counsel will join an established and high-performing legal team, reporting directly to the Head of Legal. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and advising on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts and other legal matters, contributing to the company’s continued success in delivering complex and high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts and other construction-related agreements.
- Provide strategic legal advice on project development, risk management, and compliance.
- Support business units on commercial contracts, including customer agreements with hyperscalers.
- Manage disputes and liaise with external counsel as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, operations, and finance, to drive successful project delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of legal processes and policies to support the company’s growth.
Requirements:
- A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong expertise in EPC contracts and project-related legal matters.
- Prior experience in the data centre, construction, real estate, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to legal and business challenges.
