Role Overview: As an SDR, you will be a key player in generating and qualifying leads for our sales team. You will work closely with Account Executives to identify and engage with key decision-makers within target accounts, primarily focusing on the mid-market and enterprise segments. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality, be proactive in outreach, and possess a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape to effectively communicate our value proposition.
Responsibilities:- Research and identify potential customers, including C-level executives, VPs, and heads of security operations.
- Generate outbound leads through cold calling, emails, social media, and other prospecting strategies.
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and nurture them through the sales pipeline.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand their cybersecurity challenges and business objectives.
- Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team to drive new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to refine prospecting strategies and share market insights.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track interactions, update lead statuses, and ensure data accuracy.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation goals and metrics.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, solutions, and industry developments.
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, lead generation, or similar role, preferably in the cybersecurity or tech industry.
- Proven ability to engage with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, SaaS, and cloud security solutions is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in sales.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
