Space Executive have been engaged by an innovative cybersecurity start-up who are on a missing to transform identity protection.

Their cutting-edge platform delivers unified identity protection solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Our patented technology enables robust authentication across corporate networks and cloud systems without requiring changes to endpoints or servers.

Due to rapid growth and recent investment the team are now looking to hire a AVP of Sales to lead the EMEA South team and efforts.

OTE up to €360,000 on a 50-50 split plus equity and benefits.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Vice President (AVP) to lead sales efforts in the EMEA South region. In this role, you will manage a culturally diverse team of Regional Sales Managers, driving sales growth and fostering strong customer relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales initiatives in the EMEA South region, managing a diverse team across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team, ensuring high performance and achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive local Go-To-Market strategy, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Oversee customer engagements, coordinating with teams in systems engineering, product management, customer support, and finance.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while accurately forecasting quarterly bookings.
  • Focus exclusively on channel sales, leveraging existing contacts to enhance collaboration and drive results.
  • Utilize CRM tools to share customer insights with internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Partner with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility through key events and campaigns, driving sales growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in channel sales to CIO or CISO teams at large enterprises, consistently exceeding targets.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing teams in the EMEA South region.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, particularly in identity security (IAM, PAM, MFA, etc.).
  • Experience in selling through two-tier channels.
  • Proven track record of sales success and team building, with a proactive and ambitious approach.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on performance improvement and team growth.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with channel partners through a consultative selling approach.
