Manage tax compliance matters for Global entities (including but not limited to transfer pricing, enterprise income tax, and indirect taxes) while developing effective planning solutions to improve effective tax rates.

What does the role involve?
Manage tax compliance matters for Global entities (including but not limited to transfer pricing, enterprise income tax, and indirect taxes) while developing effective planning solutions to improve effective tax rates.
- Work closely with finance department members to communicate cross-functional tax subject matter input and ensure coordination of tax solutions.
- Review and monitor tax compliance requirements of Global entities, reporting on compliance status and issues to the Corporate Office.
- Evaluate and analyze the tax effects and implications of business initiatives, transactions, and proposals to advise management on tax implications.
- Conduct reviews and research for tax planning, accounting, and compliance purposes.
- Ensure proper application of tax laws and transfer pricing strategy.
- Support tax compliance issues to align with Corporate Office directions and related tax audit reviews.
- Collaborate with business units to proactively identify and research tax planning opportunities.
- Assist with due diligence and integration for acquisitions.
- Support Corporate Office Tax Department on cross-border transactions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 8 years of related tax experience in multinational commercial and/or an International Accounting Firm (with a minimum of 6 years in an International Accounting Firm).
- Meticulous individual with ownership of objectives, driving the necessary work to accomplish them.
- Hardworking, quick learner with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel for business.
